As Is Open House (House 4 Sale - $ 2 Million Dollars)
|
'As Is' As part of the Provflux psycho-geographical intervention project across the city of Providence, Livingrm has curated a show an open house between 11-1 p.m. on Sunday, June 4th at 68 Bayard Street (Hope and Fifth Streets). In the esteemed tradition of Gordon Matta Clark (who sawed houses into pieces), Gaston Bachelard (who equated houses with nests and trees) and Louise Bourgeois (a woman as house), As Is features work that explores house and city. If the house sells, the artists will share proceeds (with bike lanes for Providence). House sale includes surrounding cherry trees, phone poles, Internet traffic, gutters, electrical, items on laundry line, the art inside everything... a total package, AS IS.
